| Progress report for Harv's Air Cadets | August 10, 2002 | Submitted by: Adam Penner |
Again the weather started out terrible... 200 overcast and visibly less then a mile, but by 11 am the weather cleared and turned into a good flying day.
Two more cadets completed the flight test! Others are busy wrapping up their flight test preparation.
The following was submitted by Mike Ball:
| One month and 2 days after going solo
and it's all done: I've completed my flight test! While it was a bit
stressful, it was a lot of fun at the same time! Now I can finally say I
am in fact a licensed private pilot. It's been an awesome adventure learning to fly at Harv's Air, and I'm sad that my flying is done for the summer. The people here are great and the aircraft are well maintained, it makes me wish I lived in Manitoba so I could come back and fly here again! F/Sgt Mike Ball, 185 Olds Squadron |
