| Progress report for Harv's Air Cadets | July 11, 2002 | Submitted by: Adam Penner |
Busy day! Almost everybody has soled with another 3 first solos today. Some cadets are working on specialty takeoff and landings. The cadets will continue to practice their landings and takeoffs for the next 3 hours of flying and then the air work manoeuvres will be fine tuned.
The frequency 122.7 is really dominated by traffic at Steinbach and now Gimli as Air Cadets start work on their glider licence.
Everybody looks happy and busy, and they are rating the food as "excellent, great, and too good 'cause I'm trying to lose weight" at the dorms.
These web pages are being viewed by over 300 different computers every day! Don't be shy, say hello in our guestbook!
Clear skies, calm winds, and +28 C made for a fantastic flying day.

Any day flying is a great day! Hi Mom!

Turning final for runway 17, yes it really is that narrow.

This man, went first solo today! Mr. Calm, cool and collected.

Trying to get his walk around complete, and dealing with a pesky camera man.
