Progress report for Harv's Air Cadets July 17, 2002 Submitted by: Adam Penner

A nice day. +27 C light north west wind.

Many cadets practiced instrument flying today. Instrument flying is conducted with a student wearing a "hood" which only allows a pilot to see the instruments. Some cadets flew under instruments to the Winnipeg International airport to practice radio communications at the same time.

On the ground, cadets are preparing for their cross countries this weekend.

Demonstrating how a "hood" works.

It's not hard to land on a 11,000 X 200 foot runway!

Someday...

Winnipeg stadium. Home of the Blue Bombers.
