Progress report for Harv's Air Cadets July 4, 2002 Submitted by: Adam Penner

The cadets either spent time practicing upper air work or started landing and takeoff practice in the circuit at Steinbach South and Steinbach North.

Weather was high overcast, a few very light showers came through the area. Winds where 130/20 knots. Temperature around +24 C

So far so good! We have been operating for about four days now, taking ground school and flying. Thus far this experience has proven to be more than we could have hoped for. Most of us are aspiring commercial pilots and this scholarship is the first step in a long journey. Harv's Air is a one of a kind flight school, that of which us Air Cadets can use to reach our full potential. After just two flights we are already learning to control the airplane comfortably and even land! The caliber of instruction is incredible! From Dave in ground school to each instructor in the air, there isn't a detail missed. Thanks to everyone at Harv's and the Air Cadet organization for giving us this unbelievable opportunity!
