Adam,
After Rock Springs we went to Salt Lake city in one leg. We spent the night and went skiing. My buddy was really kind to us and kept us fed and watered. From SLC we went to a little airport called Kanab Utah and from there on to the Grand Canyon and Vegas. This was by far the most stressful leg of the trip. There was severe downdrafts and severe turbulence over the canyon. At full power we were decending at 500 fpm at times. It was very difficult to maintain altitude but the scenery was awesome. We were violently thrown out of our seats over the canyon by turbulence but once we had passed over the canyon, we were able to enjoy the flight and the view. Las Vegas approach was busy as usual and they did a great job fitting us in to Las Vegas north airport. EIN and ZYI are sitting by about 5 million dollars worth of SR-22s right now. We had to stay in a hostel in vegas as all the hotels are booked in the whole city for some big events this weekend. Today we wil be attempting Redlands in one leg from Vegas. The guys are all doing awesome and making my life very easy. Talk to you soon.
Steve
