Triple A Flying and Harv's Air are pleased
to announce the "JAA training program partnership!"
The partnership between Harv's Air and Triple A Flying is
designed to provide quality and cost effective flight training for pilots
needing JAA certification for minimum cost.
The programmes available will enable students to take
advantage of the low flying costs in Canada but at the same time taking
the opportunity to receive focused training preparation for JAA Flying Courses,
comprising PPL(A), CPL(A), Multi Engine Piston (MEP) Class Rating, and IR(A),
so as to mitigate overall time and training costs in the UK for the final
stages of the Courses and the Tests. Even by gaining a Canadian (ICAO)
PPL(A), CPL(A), Multi Rating and IR(A) then realistically cost savings of
up to £10,000GBP can be achieved compared to the equivalent costs of doing
all the training in the UK.
For students requiring a JAA "Frozen" ATPL,
whatever their previous flying experience, a programme can be
tailored to suit the individual, the outlines of which can be found under
"Program Details and Cost" on this website."

What makes this program so special?
The integration of two Schools, one foreign and the other UK based,
to facilitate completion of training for a JAA "Frozen" ATPL
is designed to obtain the best of both worlds by significantly
reducing costs but still maintaining the highest of standards in
the process. This is achieved by having a structured co-ordinated
programme in the process of which full advantage can be taken of the very
economical Canadian flying rates which are on average about 65% lower than
the equivalent rates in the UK.
Triple "A" Flying have been very concerned about
the relatively low standards that students have usually exhibited when first
attending the School, having previously undertaken flying training abroad,
(invariably in the USA). Even when having achieved the ICAO equivalents
of the JAA CPL(A), MEP Class Rating and the IR(A) in order to take
full advantage of the JAA Abridged Training the observed standards have
been very disappointing which inevitably leads to significant cost
overruns. Simply put this situation is an unfortunate illustration of a
"lost opportunity", which if addressed in a positive manner
even at the earliest stages of flying training, can actually be achieved
for virtually no extra cost and only a little extra "thinking"
time. Unfortunately foreign schools have, by and large, failed miserably
to advise and help their customers .
For a considerable period of time both Triple "A"
and Harv's Air had both been independently looking for a partner so as to,
genuinely, benefit their customers in the attainment of their "dream"
to be professional pilots in a cost effective manner whilst still
retaining the highest of training standards. This quality training is not
only to just pass the various Skill Tests but is also highly applicable
for the future even to the extent of achieving a command position at the
earliest opportunity. Therefore Triple "A" and Harv's Air are
mutually delighted to have the opportunity of helping their customers
towards their goal by creating the most favourable circumstances including
taking advantage of over 300 VFR flying days per year in Canada.
The Canadian programmes will introduce in a very
positive way preparation for the JAA CPL(A), MEP Class Rating and IR(A),
in particular by supplying relevant knowledge of what is expected on the
JAA Courses and the level of standards that have to be achieved. This means
that there will be far less of a "culture shock" for the
student on their return to the UK resulting directly in less
expenditure and mental strain when undertaking the various JAA Modular Flying
Courses.
Do I need a student visa or special
permissions, ect to train in Canada?
If you are from Europe there is no need for a student visa on courses
of 6 months or less. Thus for this course no student visa is required.

visa pages.
