Documents to bring in:
Applicant must have Licence with a valid medical.
Must have at least PPL.
Knowledge: 70% INRAT
English Language Test Completed: TC letter of accreditation in hand or in booklet
Copy of Passed flight test or PPC report
$30 fee to Transport Canada — by cheque to Receiver General of Canada, Credit card or from account ($5 fee)
Recommendation for flight test
Application for rating including signatures
Experience to confirm (log book/PTR)
50 hours x/c PIC (at least 10 in category
40 hours instrument (20 sim. Max)
at least 5 dual from a person with an instructor rating
5 hours in aeroplanes (for a group 1, 2, 3 rating)
15 dual from a qualified person
100 nm IFR x/c with 2 approaches at different locations
PTR completed:
P and D for everything
Record of Ground school
Preparatory ground times all recorded
Recommend pages completed
TC written results
All signatures entered
Times add up and make sense
Cross country routes filled in–each individual leg should have it’s own line
Log book and PTR match
Application form filled in properly, signed
